Temperature Monitors Report Widescale Global Cooling

Really...

From the article,

Over the past year, anecdotal evidence for a cooling planet has exploded. China has its coldest winter in 100 years. Baghdad sees its first snow in all recorded history. North America has the most snowcover in 50 years, with places like Wisconsin the highest since record-keeping began. Record levels of Antarctic sea ice, record cold in Minnesota, Texas, Florida, Mexico, Australia, Iran, Greece, South Africa, Greenland, Argentina, Chile -- the list goes on and on.

And then, there's this...
The total amount of cooling ranges from 0.65C up to 0.75C -- a value large enough to wipe out nearly all the warming recorded over the past 100 years. All in one year's time. For all four sources, it's the single fastest temperature change ever recorded, either up or down.

Could this be the start of a global cooling period? Perhaps another Ice Age? Ah, what the hell do I know? Could it be, maybe just maybe, that it's solar activity that is reeking havoc with global temperatures? That seems to make more sense to me than human activity. But again, who the hell knows. It's starting to remind of those reports that come out every year telling us eggs are bad for you, no they're good for you, no wait, they're bad for you.

No kidding, its like hey, Carrots are good for the eyes..no wait, this last report said too many cause Cancer! Good note on the "Global Cooling" and such. I always wonder why they forget to mention that the 270 coal plants China is going to build within the next ten years will put more pollution in the air than the entire world. Maybe Al Gore could fly his jet over there (while telling us to live in straw houses and ride bicycles) and check it out!
