Legos Banned Because They Teach Capitalism to Children

Oy...

From the story:

"Into their coffee shops and houses, the children were building their assumptions about ownership and the social power it conveys — assumptions that mirrored those of a class-based, capitalist society — a society that we teachers believe to be unjust and oppressive."

I'm too tired to write about this, but when I read something like that, I just want to punch somebody in the head. This kind of mentality is a cancer on our country and is a direct result of the 60's. That Marxist crap is alive and well in our education system. These hippies make me wanna puke.

Wow, what an amazing lesson about sharing though! True, the fundamental views of the teachers are communal and in my opinion wrong, but keep in mind they are teaching 8 year olds how to play with legos that didn't belong to them. If they really taught 8 year olds that rules have bias, and those with power tend to perpetuate their own power I am impressed!

You say they are "teaching," I say they are indocrinating.

It's not that I'm completely opposed to sharing. But when the teacher's actions are Marxist by her own admission, I believe that's a serious problem. And this is how it starts. Indoctrinating kids with their beliefs little by little, and before you know it, we have a nation of little Marxists. Sure, that sounds paranoid. But if you think about it, when Social Security was created, the American people were promised that their Social Security numbers would never be used for identification purposes. Here we are 70 years later, I challenge you to try to do anything without a SSN, and see how far you get...

Little by little, the Marxist mindset is working its way into the mainstream, and the apathetic American people just keep lapping it up like a dog getting an ice cream cone.
