Steelers Win

And there was much rejoicing...

I don't even know what to write about here. There really wasn't much of a game here. And in fact, the last two games have been dominated by the Steelers so much, that the only thing I can come up with is, where was this team against Oakland? Or against Baltimore?

One thing I do want to say is people need to start giving Willie Parker some respect. Coming into todays game, he was the 3rd leading rusher in the AFC, 5th in the League. Then he goes on the road and tallies up 132 yards on 23 carries, which will bring him within 26 yards of Tiki Barber is currently 4th. Tiki only ran for 75 yards in their losing effort against the Eagles.

Now, I realize we all love the Bus. And we all know his style of running is great to watch. We in Pittsburgh love the smashmouth style of running. But I gotta tell ya, I don't care if it's smashmouth running or speed running. As long as we can run the ball, we can win games. And Willie Parker is running very well. And guess what? The Steelers have won their last 5 of 6 games and have outscored they're last 6 opponents 146 to 91. And that includes that awful 27-0 nightmare we suffered against the Ravens.

Now, we still have 2 regular season games to play, and Willie is now up to 1331 yards rushing, 211 yards receiving, 14 total TDs on the season. So, what do you say? Can we give Willie Parker some respect?
