Did the KGB help plan America’s FISA Court?
Well, isn't that a nice thought...
I know, I know, the Soviet Union is dead and they're supposed to be our friends now, bla bla bla... But this is a very interesting read. Gerard Jackson has done this piece - Did the KGB help plan America’s Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act? - and it frankly scares the hell out of me. I'm a relatively intelligent man and when I read something like this, I think to myself, "my God, what if that is true."
This is something every American should read. There are so many things going on right now, there are so many anti-Americans out there that would love nothing more than to see this country falter. Frankly, it scares me that some of those America-hating hippies from the 60's are now very influencial and "respectable" individuals. They're starting think-tanks, and political actions committees that actually have influence. And the average joe-blow American is just punching his time card, obvlivious to what can happen.
I know, I'm sounding a little paranoid, and perhaps it's lack of niccatine, but this is really disturbing. Read it.

Strange thoughts...but lately anything having to do with our government seems to be. Is anybody in control?
What is interesting to me, in terms of the NSA Surveillence program, the democrats want to give even more power to this FISA court and further limit our ability to gather intelligence on enemies of this country. I can't for the life of me understand that.
More power to a system conceived by members of a communistic organization such as the Institute of Policies Studies? Have we completely lost our minds?
The democrats of today in power are the commies of the 60's. Its easy to understand. Carter is a prime example of a yellow dog democrat. Run with any old dog that will call the hunt. There are very few true democrats left. Zell Miller is the last of breed.
As for the article you referenced its quite possible. I mean look who Jimmy hangs with. Look who slick willy hangs with.
I think the game they play vast right wing conspiracy is actually a watch the hand game. I will accuse you of what I am doing.
