We Are...PENN STATE!
Holy Crap! I'm in awe, shock even. I honestly had missed the last score of the PennState Men's program, and of course, I miss the best game they've had for years. Penn State, ranked in the bottom of Div 1-A basketball, beat #6 Illinois on their home court with 8.5 seconds left when Illinois couldn't get a shot off in time. Heck, we even made the highlights on ESPN to start the show!
We are 11-9. This PennState fan is giddy. We're NEVER over .500 at this point in the season. Since the days of Joe & John Crispin and Calvin Booth we haven't been ranked here.
There wasn't much point to this post other than sheer excitement. I almost wish it would have happened in the BJC and the NittWit's could have celebrated this fully. But to knock off a projected #1 seed in the NCAA tourny, this is freakin great!!!
